Year 14 No 4 - December 1990
A very successful and well attended inaugural meeting by the newly formed ‘Brig Mill A&F Club’ was held on Tuesday, 2nd October in the Guardbridge Sports and Social Club.
An audience of over 150 enjoyed a variety of Scottish, Continental and classical music provided by accordionists Colin Dewar of Freuchie, David Cunningham Snr and Jnr, along with sixteen year old Neil Galloway of Cupar who belied his tender years with a very mature performance.
The drums were ably handled by Ian Adamson, Jim Rodger (both of Cupar), Sandy Thompson of Pitscottie and George Stewart of Muirhead.
The piano accompaniment was provided by Brian Morrison of Forfar and Master of Ceremonies was Colin Lander of Leuchars.
Guest artistes were Jim Johnstone and his Band, who held the audience spellbound with their accomplished playing and their brand of humour an cabaret act.
The Club is to hold regular monthly meetings in the Guardbridge Sports and Social Club.
